Quests & verification

Quest engine overview

Quests are the heart of Loyalty Stacker. Turn the actions you want your community to take into a rewarding, repeatable game, and pay people for showing up.

The one-liner
A quest is a single action you ask a member to complete (follow your X account, join your Discord, redeem a code, hold an NFT, check in for the day) in exchange for a reward.

What it is

A quest = one action, one reward

You assemble quests into a board your members see when they log in. Every quest you publish is tracked per member: who started it, who finished it, and what they earned.

The engine handles verification, pays out rewards, prevents double-claims, and keeps a running points balance for every member automatically. Your team only touches the manual-review queue.

It works for both Web2 audiences (social, email, codes) and Web3 audiences (wallets, tokens, NFTs), and members who only have one or the other still get a full experience.

Reward members in any combination

A single quest can grant any mix of the four reward types below, and they stack. Attach one, or all four, to the same quest.

Points

Your loyalty currency. Credited instantly on completion. You choose the amount per quest.

Badge

A collectible achievement shown on the member's profile. Awarded once per member.

Points multiplier

A temporary boost (e.g. 1.5×) that increases the points the member earns on future quests for a set window, from an hour up to 30 days.

Soulbound token (SBT)

A non-transferable on-chain collectible the member mints to their own wallet.

Three ways to verify a completion

Every quest is verified at claim time, but how depends on the quest. Switch between the three approaches to see how each one works.

The member performs a quick social action (a like, retweet or reply) and claims. Great for low-friction, top-of-funnel engagement.

No waiting and no manual work: the action opens pre-loaded, the member returns, and the reward is paid on the spot.

Organize & schedule your board

Shape exactly what members see, and when:

  • Group quests into sections (think tabs), rename the built-in Daily and Main sections, add your own, and reorder them.
  • Control the order quests appear within a section.
  • Set a deadline so a quest expires automatically, or mark it “active forever.”
  • Add a description to explain the task.
Make any quest recurring
Add a cooldown so a quest becomes available again after a set period, for example a daily check-in, or a “post a fresh tweet every 24 hours” quest. Members see a live countdown until they can claim again.

Gate quests behind requirements

A quest can stay locked until the member meets every condition you set. All conditions must be met before it unlocks, and locked quests stay hidden from the board until then.

Unlock requirementExample
Completed another questMust finish “Follow us on X” before “Join our Discord” unlocks
Owns a specific badgeOnly “Founding Member” badge holders see this quest
Has a Discord roleOnly verified holders unlock the holder-only quest
Follows a specific X accountMust follow the partner account first

Shape your points economy

  • Custom points name: call them whatever fits your brand.
  • Multipliers: reward power users with temporary earning boosts that apply across the whole board. More in Points, leaderboards & multipliers.
  • Referral reward-sharing: when a member earns points, the person who referred them automatically receives a configurable share (capped per your settings), so your community recruits itself. See Referrals.

Specialized quest types

The standard social, Discord, code and check-in quests live in the catalogue. Three advanced families each have their own dedicated guide:

Examples & use cases

A new-member onboarding journey. Unlock gating walks people through the path one step at a time:

Why the boost matters
After Step 4, the member spends the next 24 hours earning 50% more points on everything else, a strong nudge to keep going while the boost lasts.

A product-launch hype campaign mixes instant social, automated on-chain and manual-review quests:

A retention loop: a recurring “Post a fresh tweet about us” quest with a 24-hour cooldown keeps your most active members talking about you every single day, while the daily check-in quietly builds a return habit.

Why it matters

You pay for outcomes, not impressions

Every point and badge is tied to a real, verified action.

It runs itself

Automated verification and instant payouts mean your team only touches the manual-review queue.

It compounds

Multipliers reward your best members, referral-sharing turns them into recruiters, and unlock gating walks newcomers down exactly the path you want.

It fits any audience

Social-first communities, token holders, and everyone in between get a tailored set of quests.

How it works

In plain language, here is the full lifecycle of a quest, from board to payout.

  1. 1
    Open the board
A member opens their quest board and sees the quests available to them. Locked quests stay hidden until their requirements are met.
  2. 2
    Start & complete
They tap a quest to start it, complete the action, and claim.
  3. 3
    The engine verifies
At claim time the engine verifies the result: instantly for honor-style social actions, automatically for Discord/on-chain/code/API/contract checks, or by routing a proof submission to your review queue.
  4. 4
    Rewards pay out
Once verified, it credits points (boosted by any active multiplier), awards any badge or SBT, starts any multiplier the quest grants, and (if the member was referred) pays the referrer their share.
  5. 5
    Recurring quests reset
Recurring quests then go on cooldown and reappear when the timer runs out.
