What the Discord integration verifies

Loyalty Stacker's documented Discord scope is deliberately focused: join a server and hold a specific role. A member links their Discord identity, your team connects the target server, and the bot checks the relevant guild-member record. Discord's member object includes assigned role IDs, which is what makes a role-gated quest practical. You can then grant in-program points or a badge, unlock a later quest, include the member on a leaderboard, or use the condition to gate an item in the rewards shop.

This is not generic message surveillance. The current product documentation does not promise native verification of message counts, reactions, time in voice channels or subjective participation quality. If one of those signals matters, use a custom API quest or a manual proof-and-review quest and define the rule clearly before launch.

Launch a Discord loyalty quest

   Connect the server

   Add the Loyalty Stacker bot from Integrations and select the Discord server. Discord requires an administrator to authorize a bot and grant its permissions; request only what the membership and role checks need.

   Choose the proof

   Use Join Discord server for broad onboarding or Have a Discord role when the server already has a meaningful role such as Holder, Contributor or Customer.

   Set a proportionate reward

   Give a modest point award for joining. Reserve badges, gated shop items or larger point awards for roles that already represent meaningful contribution or customer status.

   Build a progression

   Place the Discord check between a low-friction social task and a higher-intent product, referral or on-chain task. Members see a journey instead of an isolated checkbox.

   Test with two accounts

   Before publishing, claim once with a qualifying member and once with a non-member or account missing the role. Confirm both the pass and fail state, plus the wording members see.

A practical Discord reward blueprint

For a launch community, start with 10 points for joining the server, then award a branded Member badge when the connected account holds the server's verified Member role. Unlock a second task for users with a Contributor or Holder role, and let that task award access to a limited rewards-shop item. Add a daily check-in or referral task outside Discord so the program measures continued participation rather than a one-time join.

The role should mean something before it becomes a loyalty signal. If moderators hand it out automatically to everyone, it is not a strong proof of value. If the role represents ownership, attendance, contribution or a paid plan, it can become a useful bridge between Discord and your wider loyalty program. For NFT communities, pair it with current holder verification rather than assuming a Discord role still proves on-chain ownership.
